Winter Olympic Posters and Math Questions

Thank you to all the parents for reading the persuasive letters and responding to them. The students have also written letters to Mr. P. regarding changes or improvement they'd like in the school. Hopefully, we'll get a response soon.

Our next Character Trait Assembly is on Wednesday at 2:20 p.m. Students will be receiving awards on Fairness.

The students worked extremely hard to prepare posters on various Olympics sports. They worked with a partner to do research and to present  their poster to the class.

We are very close to reading 100 books in the classroom!

Olympic Games and Valentine's Day Party

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Today was full of excitement and fun. We had Olympic games in the morning and Valentine's Day celebration in the afternoon.

Our Olympics Day went quite well. After the games, we made a bar graph to show our favourite game. As you can see, our favourite game was Bobsleigh.

Our Valentine's Day party was a lot of fun too. Thank you to all the parents for the sending delicious treats. I hope you all have received your Valentine cards from your children. We worked hard on them yesterday.

I hope you all have an amazing long weekend with your family and loved ones. Here are some Math Questions for the weekend.

Weekly Update

Hi Everyone,

We had a few fun events this week. The highlight was the Marlies Game. Thanks to all the parents who volunteered and joined us at the game. Thursday was Red and White Day. The Olympic games were suppose to take place today but they were cancelled due to frigid weather conditions. The teachers were invited to a Staff Appreciation Lunch today. I have never seen our staff room decorated so beautifully. The lunch was delicious. Thanks to everyone who helped organize it for us. I also want to thank the Drover-Dwyer Family and Laura Barlas for writing such heart warming comments about me on the invitation letter.

Report cards will come home on Monday. I will send a note home to parents whom I'd like to meet; however, if you would to meet with me please send a note and I will get back to you.

We will have a Valentine's Day Party on Friday. Please connect with our Class Parents to find out if you're responsible for sending treats.
